Costs

inter::mission is a challenging opportunity, that does come at a price. More than anything, it will require a solid commitment to learn and integrate in a very challenging context. You’ll have to put a lot of yourself into it. Financially speaking, in order to cover the costs of housing, education, and the weekly family meal, students will pay $1,400 per quarter.* To put this into perspective, the UW double occupancy dorm rate is higher than our single room rate. The inter::mission rate is also cheaper than the majority of fraternities and sororities. UW students can elect to use the same campus “Husky Card” plans as students living in dorms for food service, as well as purchase and prepare their own food at The Purple Door.

The inter::mission culture project expense will be additional. Costs will vary according to destination. Fundraising opportunities will be made available.

*Based on single occupancy. Double occupancy rooms may be available on a limited basis, at a lower rate.
